PROSTHETIC PATH

Taking charge
Whether you're a recent amputee, your hundredth prosthesis, or you're looking to try a new prosthetic component , if we're new to each other, we always start with an initial assessment to better understand your medical history and your daily needs. During this time, we'll try to explain your potential and which prosthesis is best for you, based on our experience.
We will know you and you will know us.
Taking measurements
Once we have received the necessary documentation from a prescribing physician, along with the prosthetic design specifications, we can begin the completely custom-made production. We'll begin by taking measurements , an important step in which, using various systems, we create a cast of the residual limb. This is necessary for creating the socket, the most important component of the prosthesis. The socket is the part in contact with the body and is what determines the best possible tolerance and comfort.

Trial
The first test socket is created from the cast taken; this allows us to verify its congruity with the stump.
Any changes and improvements are made at this stage.
There is no standard timeframe for this process; everything will be planned based on your needs.
Finishing and delivery
Once the fittings are complete, the prosthesis will be finished, with the option to customize its appearance with prints and covers. This is the moment when you can let your imagination run wild.

Training
During all appointments, we will teach you how to use the prosthesis , manage its components in the best way, how to perform maintenance and small tricks that can improve your quality of life.
Follow up
Using a prosthesis requires ongoing checks and interventions . Therefore, we will schedule follow-ups (periodic appointments) that will allow us to verify that the prosthesis is still suitable and functioning properly, that the residual limb is still healthy, and, together with you, determine if there are any areas for improvement. This ongoing follow-up will allow us to monitor your progress and offer you increasingly better solutions that reflect technical and market developments.
